Reviewing geography and landforms

·         Places of Interest and Facts Cards
·         Board, chalk
20—25 minutes
Kangaroo Art:
Start by having each student draw the shape of a kangaroo on brown construction paper; you may need to guide them through this on the board.

Students will then cut out their kangaroo and glue it onto a sheet of white paper.

Using cotton swabs, the students then recreate the style of cave-painting using lines and dots in patterns to elaborate their kangaroo.

Students may also want to add circles, swirls, cacti or other embellishments to create their art. The sky is the limit!
