A great way learn more about a different culture is
through celebrating its holidays. That’s why the English Club took a break to help
Berezanka School prepare for Halloween.

English Club members took a week to make Halloween
decorations for the celebration. We made origami hanging bats and paper
pumpkins.

The celebration consisted of a party hosted by myself and
one of my students, Dima. We introduced contests, like Bobbing-for-Apples and
Mummy-wrapping, had dances, like the Skeleton Dance, and gave prizes for the
many outstanding costumes our participants wore.

There were Jack-o-Lanterns, ghoulish snacks, and lots of
games. It was an outstanding night of fun, and the English Club was proud to be
part of it!

Thank you School of Berezanka for a wonderful
celebration!
